Earnest
Look into Earnest to refinance your student loan debt or to apply for new private student loans; they even offer personal loans. I refinanced my student loans with them twice — their interest rates were the lowest in the market each time — and I have nothing but good things to say about Earnest. You can get a rate estimate in just a few minutes with no impact to your credit score.
Prime Visa
Who wouldn’t want unlimited 5% cash back on Amazon.com, Amazon Fresh, and Whole Foods Market?! There are other bonus perks as well and, if approved, you’ll instantly receive a $100 Amazon gift card. Our family does most of our spending on Amazon so this is a great money hack and may be a no-brainer if you’re an Amazon Prime member.
Capital One
The Capital One Quicksilver card is my go-to card for all of my non-Amazon purchases. It offers 0% intro APR for 15 months, unlimited 1.5% cash back on all purchases and 5% cash back on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, a one-time $200 cash bonus, and no annual fee. Even if you don’t have excellent credit, you may qualify for other Quicksilver cards with good or fair credit that will still get you that same 1.5% and 5% cash back.

AppSumo
AppSumo is a platform that offers exclusive discounts on software, apps, and digital products. Whether you’re a regular member (for free) or pay for AppSumo Plus, you’ll find amazing deals on great software for your business with no monthly fees. I’m impressed by everything I’ve gotten on this marketplace, and a lot of the software I use appeared there as a limited-time offer.
Merlin AI
If you’re interested in an AI assistant — think ChatGPT and Google Gemini — there’s nothing quite like Merlin. Its features are endless but I especially love three. As a Chrome extension, one click can pull up chat when researching a webpage, and you could even use it to speed up writing emails and engaging on LinkedIn. You can save a ton of time with the YouTube Summarizer, which summarizes YouTube videos for you. Also, Merlin Magic causes Merlin to choose the best AI model in response to your prompt. It’s pretty amazing that you can use this one tool to access the top AI models whereas you would otherwise have to subscribe to multiple.

TidyCal
TidyCal is “the simplest way to book and schedule meetings.” You can set up your own booking page, unlimited booking types (including group and package bookings), 10 calendar connections, integrations, and more all for a low single payment — that’s right, no subscription!
